We take tremendous pride in our chocolates and pack your order to arrive in perfect condition. Our packaging and shipping practices protect your order, even during the warmest weather.
We will ship your order to arrive as close to your estimated delivery date as possible. Please note that delivery date options provided are estimates only. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to guarantee delivery dates. Warm Weather Protection
We take tremendous care in shipping our orders during the warm weather and to hotter locations in a cool season. We add iced gel-bricks and insulated shipping container when necessary to ensure a safe (un-melted) arrival of chocolates at no additional cost. Please be sure someone is available to receive the package during warm or hot weather season.
We ship with the USPS and FedEx. Typically, the cheapest is USPS Priority mail, a 2-3 days service, with Saturday home delivery. USPS also offers Priority Mail Express, which is often faster, but more expensive. With FedEx, we ship either with 2 Day or FedEx Standard Overnight, faster, but more expensive. FedEx does not consider Saturday a business day. Most carriers will deliver packages anytime between 8am-8pm.
We will do our best to have your order shipped out as soon as possible, but if your order must be delivered on a guaranteed business date, please select FedEx Overnight or FedEx 2 Day. Also, because temperatures vary across the country, we may choose not to ship over the weekend in order to ensure premium quality upon arrival. For this reason, we cannot guarantee Monday deliveries.
If you place your order before 1 PM EST on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, Thursday your order will ship the same day. If you place your order after 1 PM EST, your order will ship the next possible business day. Click here to see estimated shipping duration map, based on location (1, 2 or 3 Day). Priority Express should arrive 1 day sooner than Priority.
FedEx 2 Day
If you place your order before 1 PM EST on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, your order will ship the same day that it is set to arrive within 2 business days. Saturday is not considered a business day. If you place your order after 1 PM EST, your order will ship the next possible business day. Note, orders placed after 1 pm EST on Wednesday with FedEx 2 Day may ship out the following Monday for arrival on the following Wednesday.
FedEx Next Day
If you place your order before 1 PM EST on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, your order will be shipped the same day for arrival the next day. If you place your order after 1 PM EST, your order will ship the next possible business day. Orders placed after 1 pm EST on Thursday with FedEx Next Day will ship out the following Monday for arrival on Tuesday.
No Signature Required
All orders are shipped “No signature required”, which means the package will be left at the shipping address. We are not responsible if the package is lost or stolen or melted after the delivery is completed.
Monumental Chocolate is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, local carrier mis-scans or inaccurate shipping information, and we do not require a signature for the release of any shipment. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore entirely outside our control.
Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order as well as in their order confirmation email. If you need to modify the delivery address once your order has shipped, a $20 address change processing fee will apply to your order. Once an address modification is requested, FedEx requires one business day to process the change, which may delay the package. Monumental Chocolate is not responsible for delays in transit caused by address modification.
All packages shipped via FedEx cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.
There are no returns, refunds or cancellations allowed on any orders that have shipped.
